The original Tod holders had a sliver of 24k gold throughout the wood grain. Our new holders feature bare wood and a gleam of brushed brass at the top of the holder.
The Tod Candle Holder is part of a sculptural line of wood candle holders that is decorative and functional. The wood candle holders are made of construction grade or paint grade lumber. Finding lasting qualities in otherwise undesirable characteristics of this wood – cracks, discolorations and large grain patterns - and highlighting them through simple forms and finishes, elevate the candle holder to become beautiful objects in their own right.
